Nexthink attaches great importance to your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Nexthink. The effective date for the validity of these conditions is 22/05/2023. When a new version is published, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide to us.

Online store software

Shopify
Our online store was developed with software from Shopify. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support. They will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software. No personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve services. Shopify takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies; your data may be processed in the United States.

Email and mailing lists

Klaviyo
Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles e-mail traffic from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via Klaviyo's servers. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. If you click this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website. Your personal data is stored securely by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Klaviyo reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and in that context to share information with third parties.

Gmail
We use the services of Gmail for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Payment processors (Pay.nl, iDEAL, Mastercard, and more)

We use various payment service providers to process payments in our online store, such as Pay.nl, iDEAL and Mastercard. These processors process your name, address, payment details and may share anonymized information with third parties to improve services. Clarna
We use the Klarna platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Klarna processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and in that context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), Klarna shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Klarna's services for which they engage third parties. Klarna does not store your data for longer than is permitted by the legal periods.

MultiSafepay
We use the MultiSafepay platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. MultiSafepay processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. MultiSafepay has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. MultiSafepay reserves the right to use your data to further improve the services and in that context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of MultiSafepay's services for which they engage third parties. MultiSafepay does not store your data for longer than permitted by legal terms.

Reviews

WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews via WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review, you must provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. Sometimes WebwinkelKeur may contact you for an explanation. If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur, but they will only use it to invite you for the review. WebwinkelKeur has taken measures to protect your data and may engage third parties with our permission. These protection measures also apply to their use by third parties.

Shipping and logistics

PostNL
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. DHL

Invoicing and accounting

Shopify
We use the services of Shopify to maintain our administration and accounting. We share your name, address and residence details and details regarding your order. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time - other than at your request - we will ask you for explicit permission to do so.

Automatically collected data

Data collected automatically by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations

In appropriate cases, Nexthink may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities offered by the law.

Retention periods

We keep your data as long as you are our customer. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also regard this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees do not have access to your customer profile and documents that we have produced in response to your order.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies and copies of your data to your email address already known to us.
